Cory’s Journey: Breaking Obesity with Keto-Carnivore
Struggling with Weight Loss
Cory had battled obesity for years, trying every method imaginable. He began his journey at over 300 pounds, wearing stretched-out size 48 jeans. From juice cleanses to steamed broccoli diets, to starving himself entirely—nothing worked long-term. He managed to drop some weight and reached 250 pounds, but then hit a wall. No matter how much he restricted his food, the weight wouldn’t budge.
He tried eating primarily plant-based foods, but the results were frustrating and unsustainable. Like many, he learned the hard way that the body burns carbohydrates first, making fat loss far more difficult when carbs are part of the diet. Starvation wasn’t a viable solution either.
Discovering Keto—and Then Keto-Carnivore
Cory stumbled upon the ketogenic diet and gave it a try. The change was immediate and impressive. He dropped to 200 pounds within four months and felt better with fewer carbohydrates each day. Eventually, he realized the fewer carbs he ate, the better he felt.
This realization led him to go all in—he adopted a strict keto-carnivore lifestyle. After just five weeks, the results were incredible. His energy levels soared, and he was able to work out twice a day without needing any supplements.
Ditching Supplements and Gaining Clarity
Before switching to keto-carnivore, Cory had spent thousands on vitamins, protein powders, BCAAs, and other supplements in hopes of getting healthier. Once he changed his diet, he dropped all of them.
He experienced no negative effects from removing supplements—only savings and improved well-being. He now has an extra $200 per month to spend on nutrient-dense meats instead of pills and powders.
