A 58-year-old man with decades of health problems including chronic fatigue, joint pain, digestive issues, and constant injuries started the carnivore diet 18 months ago. Eating only ribeye and ground beef, he lost 35 pounds, eliminated dental cavities for the first time in 20 years, regained ability to play golf and tennis, dramatically improved sleep and digestion, and reduced chronic inflammation throughout his body.

A Lifetime of Health Struggles
As a 58-year-old male with horrible eating habits most of my life, I experienced numerous ailments from my teenage years to present day. These included trigger finger, loss of writing skills, and physical and mental breakdowns. I constantly sprained my ankles on any change in elevation and suffered from mysterious knee, foot, or hip pain that would last for months before suddenly disappearing.

My injuries seemed to happen from the simplest activities - I partially tore my deltoid ligament just running around bases and dislocated my sternum using light weights. I also dealt with a hiatal hernia, tooth decay, food intolerances, and outdoor allergies. Perhaps most challenging was my chronic fatigue syndrome, sleeping only 2-3 hours per night for years.

Despite various attempts at diet and exercise, I remained 30-40 pounds overweight throughout my adult life. My digestion was terrible - I had issues for over two decades that I won't go into detail about, but it was consistently problematic. I suffered from deep muscle tension causing spasms and chronic knots in my soft tissue, along with dizziness when standing that lasted over 18 months.

Eventually, I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis that couldn't be fixed and an arthritic hip that doctors said would need replacement.

The Keto-Carnivore Diet: Positive Changes Experienced
I started the keto-carnivore diet 18 months ago and began getting terrific results within 4-5 days. My diet was pretty clean before that, so I think my body responded quickly because I wasn't eating much junk food at that time.

For the last 12 months, I've been eating only ribeye and ground beef, which brought another big improvement. I also stopped using any spices and drink only water.

Remarkable Health Improvements on the Keto-Carnivore Diet
The transformation has been incredible. For the first time in over two decades, I've had no cavities during my last two dental appointments, despite having no enamel left on my teeth. I'm now playing golf once or twice a week, whereas 18 months ago I couldn't swing a golf club ten times. I've even returned to playing tennis for the first time in 3-4 years.

My sleep has dramatically improved - I now get two sleep sessions of 3-4 hours each night, which is way better than my previous 2-3 hours total. I exercise every day and have even started sprinting on the treadmill. My weight dropped from around 180 pounds to 145 pounds - I haven't been this light since college, and this has been the easiest, most satisfying diet I've ever been on.

My mental energy and focus have improved greatly. I can now sit for several hours in a chair without chronic back pain, whereas previously I couldn't sit for more than 20 minutes. My digestion has never been better - I can't remember the last time I needed toilet paper, compared to the past when I had constant digestive issues.

My hiatal hernia seems to be healing as my stomach wall continues to strengthen and shrink. Many of the knots and spasms in my soft tissue are nearly gone, though I still have some healing to do. The chronic inflammation in my feet has disappeared, and my sciatic and hip inflammation are almost completely resolved. My tennis elbow and arthritic right hand have significantly improved and continue getting better.

Excitement for the Healing Process and Future
I'm far from what I would call completely healthy. I know my immune system is still weak, and I'm pretty sure I could still make myself quite sick eating soy sauce, whey, casein, and other problematic foods. But I'm really excited about this healing process and can't wait to see what the next six months will bring.

I'm sure there are many improvements I've missed mentioning. I'm so grateful I got a second chance. I really thought the last 20-30 years of my life were going to be filled with more misery if I lasted that long.
