Scott, a former Marine, overcame obesity, gout, sleep apnea, GERD, low libido, and low energy by adopting a keto-carnivore and animal-based lifestyle. Since November 2022, he’s lost 92.7 pounds, normalized blood markers, and reclaimed his vitality. From Marine Discipline to Dietary Transformation
After serving honorably in the Marines until 2010, Scott experienced a slow weight gain that reached 270 pounds. Without the structure of military life, his focus shifted to his growing family, and his own health slipped away.

Temporary Success, Long-Term Challenge
In 2016, he and his brother embarked on a step challenge, shedding 51 pounds in six months. But without sustainable diet changes, the weight returned—and then some—leaving him at 285 pounds by adulthood.

Facing Health Decline at 36
By 36, Scott battled sleep apnea, gout, GERD, low libido, and low energy. Once capable of 30 km Marine hikes, he now struggled to breathe at night, leaving him at a crossroads. He knew only one person could make lasting change: himself.

Researching Diets, Choosing Keto-Carnivore
A passionate researcher, Scott explored vegan, vegetarian, keto, and paleo diets before discovering keto-carnivore and animal-based nutrition. Influenced by Drs. Shawn Baker, Ken Berry, and Paul Saladino, he launched his journey on November 20, 2022.

Implementing Lifestyle for Long-Term Success
Scott combined keto-carnivore eating with 3–7 hours of training weekly and averaged 30,000 steps daily. His diet focused on meat and eggs, with minimal fruit and raw honey. He designed the routine to be sustainable and achievable for years to come.

Dramatic Health Improvements
Since starting, Scott has lost 92.7 pounds, normalized his blood pressure, balanced cholesterol, and dropped his triglycerides from 243 to 53. He’s free from sleep apnea, gout, and GERD, and his energy and libido are back in full force.

Thriving on the Homestead
Now active on his homestead, Scott plays baseball with his kids, runs, cares for animals, and enjoys a healthy life. His wife has lost 27 pounds and the children prefer home-cooked meals and wholesome snacks. Their food is grown or sourced locally, fitting seamlessly into their daily routine.
